Psychedelic
Preparation & Integration

Support for Making Sense of the medicine

What is it?

As psychedelics become more popularized in the Western World, the culture and community has been left with a gap in how to digest such experiences. Working with a psychedelic can crack something open, but it does not always leave us with a sense of how to bring it with us as life keeps moving.

This work is for people who want to prepare in an intentional way, and actively integrate and land they experienced. Whether you're preparing for an upcoming journey or processing one that already occurred, Stephanie's somatic approach to integration helps you bring the experience out of your head and into your body where the real shift happens.

What to Expect in a Session

Sessions look different depending on where you are in the process.

Journey prep includes intention-setting, nervous system preparation, and helping you get clear on what you're bringing in and what you're hoping for. These sessions often include learning how to meet your own activation to better surrender and navigate while in the journey itself.

Journey integration prioritizes meeting what is alive for you. This may be a specific part of the experience, a theme you noticed, or a feeling you haven't been able to make sense of. We will use somatic exercises, guided movement, and deep listening to receive the natural guidance in the body to weave it all together.

Stephanie stands at a rare intersection where somatic psychology meets living indigenous tradition. She spent three years studying under Pajé Mana of the Shanenawa Tribe in Acre, Brazil, and is the first non-indigenous student to complete this traditional training under his lineage. She underwent the full traditional process and is ordained as a prayer singer within their tradition. This study covered not only multiple medicines and prayers, but the fundamental bones of spirituality and religion of the Shanenawa People.

That foundation, combined with her clinical training through ICEERS Academy, the Chacruna Institute, and her MA in Somatic Psychology, means she can meet you in both the psychological world, and the sacred. Her skill set is in helping you return to your body, our most original medicine, and follow it's natural guidance in integration and orienting towards your truth.

"She has been a true partner in my healing journey."

In my time with Stephanie, I've cultivated a new level of self-awareness and emotional mastery. The somatic process allowed me to gain awareness of my body, especially during times of stress. The impact has been incredible in terms of boosting my confidence, minimizing self-judgment, and deepening my self-trust.

"I cannot recommend Stephanie enough."

I’ve been in and out of different kinds of therapy through my life , none of which helped me to address the depth of suffering I didn’t even realize I buried, until Stephanie. The space she holds feels safe and sturdy, which I needed and continue to need as I met her in the midst of crisis and continue to climb my way back to solid ground, none of which would have been possible without her compassion, and guidance.

"I would (and have)
recommend her to my best friend."

I have done talk therapy, and EMDR before, and was still struggling with confusing triggers and uncomfortable body sensations. I have learned to trust my body’s natural stress release system and the pace it operates at rather than avoid or jump in too fast. Stephanie is kind, present, sensitive and continues to do her own healing work making her a trustworthy facilitator.

"Stephanie helped me beyond anything I had ever done in therapy before."

I was stuck in a vicious habit of invalidating and suppressing my anxiety and Stephanie helped me learn how to listen to my body and sit with my emotional pain. I can never unlearn these priceless skills and I am forever grateful for this monumental growth.

"For the first time in my life,
I’m experiencing
being with a safe person."

Stephanie is helping me recognize all the ways my body learned to protect me from pain. She is helping me practice connecting with my body and listen to what my body is communicating to me. This is probably the hardest thing I’ve every undertaken, but the most valuable.
